I'm Diana Rueda, a passionate and motivated designer with experience in the multimedia field, animation, and Art in general. I'm constantly aiming to acquire new knowledge and learn cutting edge techniques that I could use to improve my designs. I keep updated with the development of new technologies. I am often working on perfecting my style and make it more functional. Thus, I look forward to collaborating with people from other fields that allow me to broaden my professional vision.
Biographical sketch
I recently graduated from a postgraduate program in 3D animation and character design at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, where I currently reside. Before that, I studied a four–year career in Visual Communication and design specialized in interactive design at the Faculty of Arts and Design of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I was an Intern in the same campus in the area of Institutional image and, at this time, I’m part of the Social Communication’s coordination in the Faculty of Architecture which has let me produce a great quantity of graphic and audiovisual content for the internal and external diffusion and communication of the school.
In 2016 I enrolled in a Diplomate in Digital Postproduction and 3D for films, TV and Web.
In 2017 I created the 3D animation “La Facultad de Arquitectura al estilo de Game of Thrones” which was mentioned in three articles of digital journals, one of them is among the well-known of America Latina and in 2018, I published the official application of Augmented Reality of the Faculty of Architecture UNAM.
In 2017, I collaborated on the design and production of the animations for the “Premio Nacional de Diseño Diseña México”, the biennial UNAM of Visual Arts, the extraordinary chair Federico. E. Mariscal "Más allá de la arquitectura emocional" with the Arch. Diego Villaseñor and Disound “Ponle play al diseño” of the Faculty of arts and design UNAM.
Moreover, as a freelance, I’ve participated in many projects for the private initiative of countries such as Peru, Spain, Canada, USA, England, India, and in Mexico, for some educational organizations of the UNAM and enterprises like La tocinería, Jarabes San Pedro Atocpan and LG Mexico, to mention some.
While searching to expand my knowledge, I attended a broad quantity of courses and workshops, including animation, Augmented Reality and Videomapping with personalities of different countries and specialties.
